I feel like Haruki's is just canon. He is STUDENT COUNCIL PRES (do they have those in Vancouver I don't know, we can say they do) and fusses at all the kids to keep in line. He is bffs with Yuki from that Sapphire group and Kazuki from Sterling (are knights like...hall monitors or something in this case, I dunno, they're just a bigger group than everyone else) and they always hang out with him. He makes Kazuki play every single sport so that their teams win everything, Kazuki is good at sports!!

He coordinates a lot of the sports matches they play with other schools because the weird teachers and faculty are kind of useless. He excels at EVERY SUBJECT and his parents are rich doctors that are never home so he pretty much lives by himself and sleeps over at Kazuki's a lot. He is probably planning on becoming doctor because that's what you do when you're smart and excel at everything and your parents are doctors.

When it comes to Amethyst he prefers to sit back and let the others work, only giving his input when it's needed. He's hardly lazy about it though; he'll propel them with questions and he tries to encourage everyone to participate (especially Night because he is clearly the slacker in our group).

He missed her a lot! All his girls are going off to explore and that's really good but also he'll miss them but at least he knows they're doing what they want to do and he didn't know that about Bubbles and he felt so responsible BUT NOW SHE'S BACK and he's ecstatic.

He really likes Bubbles -- he knows she's scared of a lot of stuff, but she is still enthusiastic and kind and brave. He wants to be there for her and show her all kinds of stuff!

How is she settling in?

We've already established that Edmund and Mau are leaderbros, which means they tend to turn to one another for advice and comparison when the opportunity pops up. But as is obvious, this also makes Edmund rather comfortable around Mau in a way that isn't that far off to how he can be around his siblings. Fellow rulers and all that. In a way he treats Mau like family, but not. I suppose distant family is an appropriate enough term? Cousins? idk, Either way, family. It's not quite as high as saying close family, but it's a parallel. It's sort of the same level, but a different branch if that makes sense.

But right now Edmund isn't very aware of all this. :U He's just been comfortable and enjoying it. It's different! It's nice! No idea what it is and not sure it matters. And frankly Edmund is the type to be happy to settle for status quo as long as it doesn't fuck things up. But we know his track record in that matter, so we'll see how things progress. \o\

Mau thinks if Cassie wants to learn to read she should let go of being embarrassed about it and if she doesn't want to, she should stop bothering and getting so upset about it, but Mau has kind of a silly relationship with how emotions work sometimes so v( '-')v HE ALSO sympathizes because it is pretty tough to struggle with something that everyone else seems to know how to do automatically, he just doesn't think losing face is comparatively important under the circumstances!

How's Cassie doing with Three's final task?

THIS IS A HARD QUESTION because you know I posit that Jill doesn't have the slightest idea what family is about SO is this "if Jill had always been part of the family" or "if Jill were adopted into the family" because those are very different answers!

For the lecture series, he wants to start out with just getting people who are interested in GIVING lectures and find out what they want to talk about! He's hoping to get people who want to talk about their worlds, because he sort of wants to start CATEGORIZING worlds somehow so that there's some basis of comparison when people are sent into dead ones. He also wants to get a few veterans up to talk about Aather's story so far! He has vague ideas for a comparative magics series later on.

How are things going with Josh and Ven and Edmund, from Josh's perspective?

Van: Vandesdelca means 'one who would seize glory' but I already use 'seizeglory' for my email and didn't want to repeat it. So I went with 'glorious' as my more pretentious choice. :'D

Saya: Saya no Uta translates to 'Song of Saya' or Saya's Song, I have seen both used. EITHER WAY, it is a song belonging to Saya. So Saya can say it is 'mysong' .

Estelle: I actually wanted something like 'childofthefullmoon' because that is what she is in canon BUT ANOTHER ESTELLE RPER BEAT ME TOO IT. I was tempted to go with 'insipidpoison' which is...also what she is, but that would've been too depressing to look at everyday. ( '-') So I went with 'fullmoonblooms' to alude to her role in relation to the full moon, and also point out that her character design is meant to alude to flowers (and also the fact that all three of my characters have SOME connection to flowers...somehow...)

What do you feel are the commonalities of the characters you've apped? If they have anything in common, that is.

MY PARENTS ARE DEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD

...I think there was something else but hrm. I could go with 'morality issues' in that almost all my past characters were either nonhuman to begin with and thus had no understanding of human morals or were outright villains with very skewed moral compasses, but I deliberately apped Estelle to see if I could manage someone who was actually a good person.

Though I guess if I stretch a bit...They all have some dealing with their fate and/or purpose, where Estelle goes on a bit of a journey to change the damage her role causes, Saya embraces her purpose in the 'True Ending' of her game (though that changes depending on player choices in the game), and Van defies fate by doing exactly what it says because that is a brilliant plan with no flaws whatsoever.

...And I have no idea what to ask that hasn't been asked already. I guess Apple and I are talking about how Sapphire's approach to trauma games have changed since our characters have intro'd and also how our characters ICly perceive that change. Mau has had more time and more turnover to see changes happen with, so how has he viewed Sapphire's continual change in tactics and if Legacying changed that too, now that he's hearing about games secondhand?
