She's just really upset and she doesn't understand anything and she's like. WILLING HERSELF TO REMEMBER MORE but obviously that's not a thing. Especially with Tempa she's very snappish and quick to anger because he's! infuriating! With Naha, she's trying to stand her ground but ends up making really stupid challenges that i'm sure will bite her in the butt one day. But yes they stress her out to the max and she's really happy she can go back to her room and lock the door and not worry about them coming around unannounced. But she's exhausted and confused and resentful and lonely and she just wants anything at all to be familiar or make sense.

Mau thinks if Cassie wants to learn to read she should let go of being embarrassed about it and if she doesn't want to, she should stop bothering and getting so upset about it, but Mau has kind of a silly relationship with how emotions work sometimes so v( '-')v HE ALSO sympathizes because it is pretty tough to struggle with something that everyone else seems to know how to do automatically, he just doesn't think losing face is comparatively important under the circumstances!
