This is pretty interesting to me at least. Up until relatively recently in Aather, Naha didn't actually have much of a sex life. She'd had sex with two people, and both times were pretty much entirely based on an economy of comfort/self-comfort. Like, Naha had slept with Nii! Pretty much it happened because she was angry and needed a distraction/as a method of self-comfort (since Nii certainly wasn't offering comfort.) She also made a pass at Itachi asking for a somewhat more mutual comfort which he turned down. Probably wisely.

But she kept getting positive sex memories (seriously, so many positive sex memories) and while she's gotten negative memories, few of them were of the stuff that really hurts Naha's relationship with sex. Which means that while Naha is pretty precarious, while she is healthy, and with the memory set she's had, she moved into a place of expanding sex to a means of sharing affection and attention beyond comfort, which eventually led to sleeping with Cass. Their relationship is based a lot of Cass's need for affection and approval, and Naha's desire (for now, at least) to provide that. And Naha enjoys it and cares for Cass, so it was pretty good in that respect!

Jason kind of falls back to comfort a little, but Naha was offering comfort from a very different place. She does like him, and he's surprisingly good at getting her to want to be tender for him. Not to fix him. Naha isn't really a fixer. But yes, offering comfort and companionship in a style with which Naha is confident.

Spike is. How to put this. Like. Entirely for fun. He is totally for funsies. Naha likes him! And I don't say this to say it's shallow exactly. In some ways, Naha is probably the healthiest there because it really is like. We could have fun casual sex let's do that. Yes.

So circling back to Cass, their relationship has been getting to a better place since the whole flare up of jealousy, and Cass has been taking interesting steps with her. So it's. Actually all pretty good! And I wouldn't call it balanced, exactly, but it's in a surprisingly healthy place, which could also be said of all of Naha's sex life at this point. Or Naha in general!

SO LIKE SEGUEING IN TO TEMPA, he is. Difficult. So difficult. And so relevant because Naha still wants him. Naha always wants him. He was her primary lover for pretty much ever, and even when that changed it wasn't in any way or by any means because Naha stopped loving him or being attracted to him. But. Naha. Hates him. A lot. Too. So much hate. And it will probably get worse before it gets better because I have some nice huge sig negs still to come in that respect. And so that's difficult, and something Naha cuts off for now without too much trouble because of the hate.

And in light of that, her sex life in Aather, even if it is surprisingly healthy, is something of a stop gap instead of just being a healthy expression of a very, very sexual god.'-'

And in that vein, she does use it (and uses Ruby), to reinforce a particular version of herself, the healthier version, that she'd rather be. It creates a type of feedback, and expectation, that Naha responds to and helps her put on a good show of being healthier than she actually is. So to a degree it's still a tool which Naha deploys on some level to "control" herself when she can't actually control herself. Similar, in a way, to arranging things so she didn't kill Van. Though less damaging in a lot of ways... um. It still on the one hand keeps her surprisingly healthy, and on the other contributes to that health being very precarious.

I still want a Daphne for Mau so bad. '-' It's terrible because it's a purely shippy thing I JUST SHIP THEM SO HARD. But. Yes.

I would love for anyone from Narnia to show up. ANYONE. The whole cast is fantastic and has huge scope for extrapolation and just doing really interesting things that have a basis in canon but no direct text I think? And relationship things that come up with that. So yes. All of Narnia all the time.

Pushing Daisies meh meh I don't know. They're all great characters and if we got any of them I would be excited and of course if Chuck reapped I would be super excited but I don't desperately want anyone from there.

You have so much cast by now for Naha! Is there anything you're especially looking forward to with that?

What was I saying? OH RIGHT. I am just looking forward to like everything. In particular, I look forward to Tempa and Naha immediately going at each other's throats when Yeine shows up, and Yeine being like. ...I do not know these crazy people.

Also, trying to kill Oree. Since that's a thing that might happen.

Though, maybe not. Depends on how Tempa and Naha's relationship goes and if she gets in before or after Sieh good ends.

Hm. Tell me about Heliodor now. There's been so much turnover. How's it different?

Theyyyy are really unstable right now I think? As... individuals... and also as a team...

Apollo, Jason and Dirk are, I think, pretty much completely on the same page in terms of prioritizing Heliodor's safety in games. Sion agrees in principle and acts on it, but is totally disconnected from the team as a whole. Serin and Hiccup are maybe more ambiguous about it? At least, neither of them are particularly talented at prioritizing their own safety. And then... Sora is... Sora... SO THERE'S THAT.

Jason and Hiccup butt heads a lot, often over misunderstandings but I think also over conflicting morality/priorities and some fairly big misreads of the other's personality or motives. Serin and Sion both seem pretty avoidant to me! And Sora has a lot of cast drama happening and is also new so there's some disconnect there. Dirk and Hiccup recently(ish) had a pretty significant fight in Ned's heart...

MAN IDEK they're a hot mess. I think most of them care either for the team or for a lot of individuals on the team or both, enough that most of them make an effort? But there's a lot of hurt and fractured... identity or relationships or both going on at the moment. IDK I THINK IT'S INTERESTING.

Tell me about Ruby right now, since I have no idea what's going on there!

Ruby is magical, okay.

Where by magical, I mean totally codependent and constantly clinging and flopping on one another. Which Naha is not without some fault on, because she's both very dependent on them and very shaped by their needs.

Though at this VERY moment, it's kind of up in the air. The trauma game was... idk, not as bad as some games, but I think it brought out a lot of people's desires not to see others hurt. Naha took the first challenge--hand burning--because she didn't want anyone else hurting themselves, but that upset Cat, and he ended up taking a challenge he thought would be easy to get it out of the way, but then he ended up helpless as people made progressively worse decisions. Like, EVERYONE GOT HURT. Which was the opposite of what Naha wanted. So she went and did another room at the end and that was THE WORST POSSIBLE. But she had to do something, and that's what she ended up doing.

There's been a fair amount of turnover lately, though, so things are pretty unstable, and Oz just good ended too which is. Even more destabilizing.

It is all very up in the air now. I look forward to seeing how it goes.

What would your characters think of each other if they interacted?

Ooh! That's a fun question.

Ned would think Jill was a sweet kid and would be minorly concerned about how much she has to deal with, but kind of relieved that she... more or less acts her age most of the time. He'd probably be kind of unnerved by Mau, who largely does not act his age at all.

Jill would like Mau and sort of just think of him in terms of some nearly-human Narnian person who is under no obligation to act the age they appear to be. She would think Ned was kind of a fussy grown-up, but like his desserts and consider him to not be a bad sort.

Mau would like Jill and want to help her out with anything she might want to learn. They'd probably be friends! He'd worry about Ned's skittish tendencies right off the bat, but certainly not have anything against him.

Chance thinks everyone is hilarious and Nick thinks everyone is so great.

...Neji would probably find Naha strange and a little untrustworthy. Not unpleasant, but not someone he'd be comfortable around either. Particularly because he wouldn't be able to read her, and he's very used to being able to read people. Even if he can't read some people as well as others, not knowing her mood or if she's lying, and the way her posture and moods change... he'd find it off putting. Neji finds Kitsune annoying but harmless as Personae go, and Three interesting and sometimes helpful but dangerous.

Naha would find Neji vaguely interesting at first (she likes ninjas in general) but would probably lose interest in him unless he did something particularly dynamic which he's not normally inclined to doing. Kitsune is cute. Three is essentially a god-figure of fate, balance, justice, etc, all things that scream Tempa. Not in a super fun way.

Kitsune likes trolling Neji. Finds Naha interesting, but possibly a little frightening because deep down she's a fox, and is skittish about bigger predators.

Three would probably like Neji alright. Naha less so. '-'

Still pretty vague. She's willing to accept her, but she's in a pretty bad mental place for it. She kind of wants to pile with Tavros and Cat and Ash, and hiss at anything that comes too close. '-'
