This is a story of a time not so long ago, in the world that is my home.

Yes, a princess. But she did not know she was a princess, and her father did not know he was the king.
He was away from his country, on a long journey, when he became needed for that position, and his daughter had followed after him. So they were lost and far from home when they became king and princess.
The daughter was chasing after her father on a great ship, when a huge storm came.
And the storm was bad?
It was bad. It picked up her ship and hurled it across the sea, rushing over islands, until it hit an island too big to fly over, and was stuck fast between two huge fig trees.
Was she okay?
