IC: Dream Post

The space you are standing in is cold and grey and very still. There is nothing beneath your feet, nowhere to go. You hang for a long moment, in this place with no place, without direction or a proper sense of time, until the light dims...

...and your feet touch ground. Your eyes are closed. When you open them, you find yourself here.

[that's...at least vaguely reassuring to Ven, even if it isn't to Mau. and it means he's reliving his memories and not imagining some new awfulness at least. soldiering on for hours, stopping for brief moments to touch or talk to Mau if he looks like he's spacing out too much]

I know. No matter how much you hear that...friends can be there to share your burdens...some things are far too terrible to want to show. Maybe...especially because I wouldn't turn away. But we will both...survive.
